Here is some information before you submit:
What is this project for?
There could be many reasons for a "modeling" project. Sometimes I want to test a new backdrop or a prop, maybe it is a themed project, print competition idea, or just looking for a certain breed or mix to add to my portfolio. The style is never too far from what you see on my website or social media though.
Who is this project for?
It is ideal for someone who likes my photography style, has never done a studio portrait session for their pup but it sounds like an awesome idea, and is willing to invest some time in a consultation and the session itself.
Where will the session be done?
Westmont, IL, unless otherwise noted.
When will the session be done?
If not specified yet, we would discuss that during consultation. Typically "modeling" sessions are on weekdays.
My dog is not well trained, can he/she be considered?
Depends on a project. If it is not specified that the dog has to be well trained, you are welcome to submit for consideration.
Will I be able to see images from the session?
Absolutely! There are no online galleries, we look through images the same day, about 15min after the portrait session.
What's in it for me?
In addition to a waived session fee ($150 value), as a thank you for your time you get one complimentary 8x10 professional quality print. There is no obligation to order additional prints, but you can if you'd like. No digital images provided.
What do I need to bring for a session?
Your dog's favorite treats. A brush for long hair dogs.
More questions?
Phone consultation is the best way for me find out more about your dog and for you to ask additional questions you may have. Please do ask if something is not clear prior to committing.
Last thoughts:
Thank You so much for your interest and please remember these projects sometimes require specific color, or size, or talent. If your pup is not chosen, it is certainly not because I don't think he or she is cute and photogenic.
