Who are the sessions for?
These minis are designed for dogs, or dogs with their people. The setup is best suited for 1–2 dogs and up to 1-2 people per session.
Can I bring more than 2 dogs or 2 people?
It might be best to book multiple mini sessions. If you're unsure how many sessions you'll need, please contact me before booking.
Can my dog wear a costume?
Absolutely! Costumes are welcome, but completely optional. Some dogs aren't comfortable wearing costumes, and that's perfectly fine. The backdrop will still make it for a seasonal photo.
What if my dog doesn't sit or stay?
That's okay, your dog does not need to be perfectly trained. We'll work with what your dog gives us and keep things moving. Some people actually choose to be in a photo together if their dog doesn't know sit/stay command.
Will there be other dogs and people around?
Yes. The event takes place inside a pet supply store, so other people and pets will likely be walking by during your session. This is part of the environment, and every dog will respond differently to the distractions.
What if my dog is nervous or reactive?
Please let me know before booking your session. We can discuss whether this particular event environment is a good fit for your dog. Some need a more quiet environment without other dogs and people to make the experience more comfortable.
What should my dog wear?
Anything comfortable! A Halloween costume, festive bandana, collar, or nothing special at all. Your dog doesn't need to be dressed up to participate. Since we will be in the store, all dogs have to be leashed.
Can I bring treats?
Sure! Treats can sometimes be very helpful during a short session.
Should I arrive early?
It's a good idea to arrive a few minutes before your scheduled time so your dog can settle in and you can be ready when your session begins.
What happens if my dog needs a break?
We'll take a moment when needed, but the session remains limited to 10 minutes.
What if I want photos with my whole family?
Please contact me before booking. The session is up to 10 minutes long and the set is suitable for small groups.
What if my dog won't cooperate for the camera?
We will make the most of the time we have and work with their personality rather than expecting perfect poses.
What if my dog is very distracted?
That's completely understandable in a pet store. Other dogs, people, sounds, and smells can be distracting. The best approach is to come with realistic expectations and be ready to work with your dog's attention span.
Can I reschedule?
I'm happy to reschedule you to a different time on the same day (October 17th 2026) if it's available. You can check current available times here.
